Jennifer strode down the aisles, honey-brown eyes peering into each stall with curiosity, anxious to see if she'd find an equine partner that was right for her. Shoving her hands into her jean pockets, she turned her head to look into the next stall, the movement of her neck slightly blocked by the black scarf shielding her from the bite of the cool morning air. Eh, she'd probably have to shed a few layers later on in the day, anyway. It wouldn't last too long. Her attention was drawn to the large, muscular frame of the stallion within the stall. Intrigued by the black stud's powerful appearence, and apparent sweet, willing nature. Propping her arms up on the stall door, Jennifer peered in at the big stallion.
"Hey there, handsome guy."

At the faintest sound of footsteps closer to his stall, Killer's frame was turned to the door. Auds erect attentively at the newcomer, his nares flared to take in the scent of the new one. He let out a low whicker, stepping to the door soundlessly. Ink hued orbs dazzled with the reflection of the day's sun that helped light the building. As he approached, his facade was reached out to the human, sniffing her hands and arms curiously.

Watching the big stud maneuver his way toward the stall entrance, Jennifer grinned, waiting for his large crown to reach over the door before she made any move to pet him. As his charred mug investigated her hands, Jennifer lifted one to gently stroke the large cheekbone, gently brushing his forelock away from the dark irises.
"You're a sweet boy, huh?"
Glancing over her shoulder, her honey-brown eyes searched the aisle ways for any sign of the owner. The seemingly gentle stallion had pretty much won her heart, it would just take the rest to confirm whether or not she should go through with buying her first horse.

A tall slender woman, not looking fit to own a horse, considering she was wearing high heels, trudged down the aisle, pulling along a rather large trunk. She stopped at the stall, glancing at the woman and the horse. "He's $20,000." was all she said. "Gear included."
Killer snorted as the other woman appeared, and nudged the newcomer's hand, a small whickering sound coming from him. Dark optics scanned both of them, showing his protest againest the presence of the other with a toss of his dial, sending his banner flying into the air to settle again across his optics.

Noting the stallion's obvious discomfort as soon as the woman appeared, Jennifer cast a slightly aloof, uneasy glance in the other woman's direction, her gaze lowering to the trunk. Feeling the big Friesian stud's muzzle brush against her hand, Jennifer gave his sturdy neck a gentle pat, turning to acknowledge the apparent owner, regardless of how out of place the woman looked to the equine atmosphere.
"Anything else you can tell me about him? Past injuries, training or anything?"

"I'm not the original owner, I'm just selling him for her. As far as I know, Killer can do just about anything you ask of him and has always taken great care of himself." was all she said. She just wanted to get out of here, not liking the horse anymore than he liked her.

Gently brushing the backside of her knuckles soothingly up and down the long side of the stallion's broad face, a frown creased Jennifer's features. It was apparent the other woman wanted nothing to do with horses. She decided to ask no further questions.
"I'll take him. You said $20,000, right?"

She nodded, not saying anything. She just stood there, waiting...
Killer tossed his dial gently, nuzzling the woman's shoulder. His warm breath hit her arm as laid his muzzle on her.

Jennifer nodded slowly in acceptance, turning gently brush the stallion's thick mass of forelock away from his eyes, digging her checkbook out of her pocket as she quickly wrote out her name, to whom it was going to, and the amount of money given. Signing her signature, she handed it to the woman while reaching for the stallion's halter.
"Thanks, give my regards and thanks to his old owner," She said, unlatching the stall door as she moved to his side. "Easy, big guy. We're going home, Killer, hang on,"

The woman snatched the check from the other's hand quite readily, then turned after she listened to her words with a nod of goodbye. She then disappeared, leaving the buyer and Killer alone.
Killer's optics watched curiously as the woman left, but then his attention was quickly changed back to his new owner. He whickered softly, stepping back from the door as she stepped inside. His auds were erect, listening to her words closely, as his pools scanned her attentively. He tossed his dial a little, spreading his banner once more, and neighed in a way that could show impatience.

Jennifer unbuckled the halter she had brought inside the stall with her, slipping the noseband over the stallion's nose as she buckled it around his broad crown. She slid the studchain through the rings and over his nose before clipping it to the other side of the halter, gently tossing the leadrope over the other side of his neck as she exited the stall momentarily, locking it behind her as she hurried to her car to grab a set of legwraps she had stashed somewhere in the backseat. She rummaged through her belongings that were spread out around the backseat of the green Chevy Blazer, and finally dug the four-piece set of blue legwraps and shut the car door behind her, bringing the wraps with her back to Killer's stall to wrap his legs for travel.

- Sorry I haven't replied.. Sick. -
A snort of protest was released from the stallion's gullet as the chain was felt over his nose, his auds straying from their attentive stance in the woman's direction to flicker about in a miscellaneous nature. They were quickly averted to her direction once more as she departed from Killer's stall, disappearing for a few moments. As the last sign of her disappeared temporarily, only her scent remaining, the stud's head hung low as he awaited her return.

Leg wraps in hand, Jennifer reentered the stall, closing it behind her as she knelt by the stud's front legs, giving his sleek black shoulder a pat. "You're such a good boy," A grin slid across her face, unable to believe her luck in finding a stallion with such a sweet, calm demeanor. She carefully wrapped both front legs, checking to make sure they were snug, but not cutting off the circulation, then moved to his hindlegs, wrapping both next before rising back to her feet.
"Alright, Killer, let's head home," She pulled the leadrope off his neck and walked him out of the stall, glancing over her shoulder every so often to ensure that he wasn't hesitating while she just kept walking, their destination, Jennifer's trailer.

Killer's auds and optics followed Jennifer as she suited him up for the travel, another small snort escaping his gullet as he watched her. As she stood, grabbing the lead from his neck, he tossed his mane a little, following her from that cramped stall. His walk was brisk, almost running past Jennifer as he took a good look around at his surroundings for the first time. He sent out a lively whinny, calling to the other equines on the campus as he continued to follow Jennifer, not really watching where he was going.
