[/u][/s][/glow][/i] Risen Saviour- I let out a series of shrill whinnies as the whip was laid on my rump again. My poor rump was already sore and bleeding, and flys crowed the bleeding area on my sides. The bit in my maw was jerked back again as the two-leggeds yanked back the rein. Blood from my tounge colored the froth that fell from my mouth as I chaffed at the sharp bit. My knees were bruised, and I could barley stand. If I lay down, the whip was cracked about my head. I had no food, no water for 3 days, my throat was dry, my ribs visible. Stones croweded my poor hooves, and dust and dirt was about my coat. "Come on, you lazy beast, move!" said Jack, cracking the whip on my rump. Blood splashed onto the ground. I strained my neck as I tried to pull the cart. The bearing rein was on, and my head had to be held up all the time. I could never put it down. I let out a shrill whinny for help.[/center]

Blake had no problem locating the stallion Jesse had been raving about. He was in a stall now, with no cart attached or men beating him, but he had certainly been abused. "Hey fella," he said lowly to the brute. "I'm here to help you out." He walked down the aisle, looking for and finding an empty bucket to put water in. After filling it, he brought it back to the stallion's stall. A dirty looking man was now there, jabbing at the stud with a rake.
"Sir, there have been complaints about the treatment of this animal, and he's obviously been mistreated. The authorities are on their way now," he said, eyeing him with disgust. He set the water bucket down on the floor of the stallion's corral.

Risen Saviorur- My head shot up at the sound of a kind voice. I strained my neck to the water bucket, sore and bleeding. The coolness of the water hit me like a tidle wave. So good! I happiley lapped it up, loking at the two-legged who had put it in here. I whinnied a thank you to him, and began to drink again."Hey, buddnk. This ain't yous businesh. Buck ov" said Jack, who now looked totally drunk. He whipped me again. "Actually, this poor horse isn't your bussiness, if it's not his buissness. You're selling him, and even if Blake dosen't buy him, it's still as much as his bussiness as it is our buissniess" said an annoyed Jesse on a firce chestnut stallion.

Blake, growing ever more frustrated with the situation, was startled to see Jesse suddenly appear. He was even more startled tha she even suggested he would buy the stallion. He already had two horses; he definitely couldn't take on a third, especially such an abused animal that would no doubtedly require a lot of time. He check his watch. 7;15. "Look," he said to the woman. "I called the police, and they should be here any minute now. They'll take care of everything. I'm going to get to my dinner plans," he said. He turned to the poor animal. "Don't worry, boy. Everything is going to end up alright." He scratched the horse behind his ears and went to his truck.

Jesse nodded and smirked at Jack. "If the police don't come, I'll have to take matters into my own hands. David won't mind, he let me before" she said, cracking her knucles.
Risen Saviour- The man scrtached behind my ears. A kind person! But how? I whinnied happiley. I nickered in thank you and continued drinking the water.

The commotion caught Shawna's attention as she made her way down the aisles, with her heavy-set Rottweiler at her side. Schultz, riled up by the noises and the snarling voices of men, let out a low, uneasy bark as he started toward the aisle furiously. Great Shawna was quick to follow him, hoping to catch her dog before he could get into anything he didn't belong in. "Schultz! Come--oh, my God!"
One look at the stallion jsut about broke Shawna's heart, moving quickly to the fence near the guy, the younger girl and the two men that apparently ran the dysfunctional operation here, pulling out her checkbook as she made an impulsive decision. The stud would be her first horse, and there was no way she was letting this opportunity slip. "I'll pay the price for him right off the bat. I have my trailer, everything." She muttered, quickly writing out the check as her grey eyes ran over the stallion's mangled frame sadly. "You poor guy,"

I pricked my soft ears at the sound of humans. I looked up, and saw something that smelled like tree. It WAS tree! Tree! Tree! TREE! TreetreetreetreetreetreetreeTREE!!!!! I whinnied at the smell.
"No, he's not bought. Hi, Megan" Jesse said. Jack drank the last of his beer and began to scarmble out of the place. "And, where do you think you're going?" she asked Jack.

With a loose sigh, Shawna's arms dropped to her sides, turning toward the man with the stallion's leadrope in hand, but looked up abruptly as the man had started to scramble away. Schultz's upper lip lifted in a snarl, lunging foreward as he threw himself in front of the human under influence, leveling the guy with a cold stare as his goal was to keep him there, a low growl ripping from his gullet. Shawna shot a glance over her shoulder at her Rottie. "Guard him, Schultzie, Wache," She returned her attention to the guy, giving a light shrug. "Alright, since the girl was here first, if she wants to buy him, fine. But if not, I'd love to see this horse reach the ability he seems like he's capable of. It's people like that moron who ruin a good horse." Schultz, having remained glued to the command given by his human (Training in Schutzhund, thank you.), his leveled stare remained fixed on the guy, daring him to make another move.

Suddenly, the running man stuck a finger up his nose and pulled it back out, something yellow and green on it. "Wana EAT IT?!" he said, shoving his hand at Megan. Jessica watched from a few feet away with slight amusment.
