Crhstea laughed. "I guess so!" she called back. She looked on as Saphire rose from her shoulder, folded her wings together, and spiralled through the hoop, doing a flip as she finished.

Anitra chuckled.
"By the way, this is Excen, and that was Xecian I was speaking. It's a special language that only he and I know, as far as we know at least."
Excen nodded along with her, then flew away dissapearing into the shadows, which seemed to move with him. Anitra closed her eyes slightly and a large rock soared through the hoop, paused, and went back through the other way. The rock then hovered slightly above Anitra's hand and fell into it, the rock smooth and cold in her hand.

Crhstea smiled and went to sit next to her again, allowing Saffy to fly off in a featle attempt to find Exen. "I've never heard of the language. It sounded pretty complex, though. How did you learn it?" With a swipe of her hand she lifted a small clump of dirt from the ground. She made it into a circular shape and hardened it. Then sent it soaring through the air and through the hoop. It circled back to her and she softened it again, placing it back in the small ditch in the ground where it came from.

"I'm not quite sure how I learned it really. As soon as I got Excen, I began to learn it. He speaks English too, but his native language is Xecian."
She spoke softly, tossing the the rock in her hand. The rock always seemed come back to her, even when she made an odd throw. She notice Saphire going after Excen, and saw him notice Saphire also. The shadow that was Excen alighted on a high tree branch.

"Interesting." she stated, laughing slightly at Saphire's confused expression. She was within feet of Excen, yet she couldn't find him. "How old are you, Anitra?"

Anitra chuckled slightly, watching Excen look quite impressed with himself.

As Crhstea watched on, she saw Saffy turn to search somewhere else, but as she spread her wings, the tip touched Excen, and she spun around and frantically began her searching again. She laughed and turned back to Anitra.
Around 17. Maybe 18. she stated, enjoying watching her Phoenix's amusing search.

" Interesting also. So how did you meet Sapphire?"
Anitra asked, then chuckled looking toward Excen. Excen had tapped the other side on Sapphire with a shadowed wing. He sat perfectly still again, waiting for Sapphire's reaction.

"Saffy? Oh, I can't remember a time that I didn't have her. My father found Saphire's mother injured in the forest and nursed her back to health. He was slightly surprised when she layed an egg, but he gave it to me to take care of. I was around 5 then. Most Phoenix's of her kind are quiet, friendly companions. When Saffy hatched, however, she was loud, excitable, and absolutely hated me. I can honestly say that, to this day, I have no idea why she likes me now. I must have done something, though, huh?"
She watched as Saffy jumped back, fluttering her wings, when Excen tapped her, but rather than searching as she did before, she stayed in one spot, examining the shadows until she could find him. Finally, she sang happily as she found Excen's form in the shadows.

Excen chuckled, smiling as Saffy.
" Yes, I've had Excen as long as I can remember. When I was born he was assigned as my 'guardian'. We've been together ever since."
Anitra chuckled at Excen's rare smile.

Saphire hooted and performed a smooth backflip, showing off to Excen. She was always showing off to people... and everything else.
Smiling, Crhstea said, "Well, Saffy's sure taken a liking to him." She laughed as Saffy did her best to impress the shadow-like creature.

"True. That's a good sign too. Excen has never really taken a likeing to other 'strangers'."
Ivory chuckled again, smiling as Excen's wings moved to a pounding rythm as he swooped away from Saffy, then weaved through a few trees landing neatly beside her.

Saffy hooted and settled down a bit, cleaning off one of her ruby wings.
"Really? Honestly, Saffy's not normally good with other animals either. Interesting, huh?"

Excen chuckled flapping his wings once, the perching again on the tree, watching Saffy.

Crhstea laughed as she watched Saffy. She knew what the phoenix would do.
Saphire took it as a game, and did the same as Excen, only rose an inch higher than he before landing on the branch again.

Excen noted it as a challenge, floating another inch higher before landing gracefully.
Ivory meanwhile chuckled.
" Well, I better get back to practice."
She walked into the middle of a plain area of dirt and rock, and sat cross-legged. Closing her eyes she prepared to work with the earth.

Saffy cawed lightly and floated an inch higher still, determined to win.
Crhstea tilted her head to see what Anitra was going to do.

Anitra sat, raisung her hands ever so slightly. The ground beneath her raised, slowly, bit by bit. Anitra soon sat on a foot high pedestal of rock. She had her eyes closed, and continued to raise it, slowly but surely.
