Tesla sighed before she began to eat. (once again, gonna move this on a little..) After they were done, she scooted her chair back and stood. "Let's go get ready for bed," she said, talking to Amber. She touched her head gently as she walked around the table and started to gather up the dirty dishes. "I'll be up there in a few minutes," she said as she took the dishes to the sink.

"It was great, Danny," she said with a smile, and continued putting up the dishes. She loaded them into the dishwasher, then turned and walked toward him. "I'm gonna go say goodnight to Amber.. Are you going home tonight?" she asked quietly.

Tesla sighed, a small smile spreading across her lips as she saw her baby girl. Quietly, she backed out of the room, closing the door. She then turned back toward Danny, sighing and looking down at the floor. "I don't want to bring you into this mess.. But I need someone to talk to.." she said, slowly picking up his hand.

She sighed as she listened to his words in silence, then slowly glanced at the door afterwards. She turned a little and led him down the hall to her room, so Amber wouldn't hear their words if she were to wake up. Once inside, she closed the door and slowly looked back toward him. Tesla sighed once more, looking at the floor again.

She bit her lip, but slowly looked back up at him. "Danny... I'm so tired of him.. You don't know how much I wish he'd just disappear. When Amber is older, I just know he's gonna do something to her.. And he already has! She's 3 years old for Christ's sake.. She sounded like a teenager in there with these problems that's he's making us go through.." she said, stopping to get a breath.
