It was a crisp, snowy white morning, and Maraiah Wolfe began the day at 8 am sharp, but only in rhythm to the annoying alarm tune on her mobile phone. She got up, dressed, washed and applied her make-up. She bounded downstairs, now wearing a soft periwinkle blue halterneck and jeans with ankle socks. She stopped in the kitchen, opening the fridge at the same time as calling Jesse! Come on boy, breakfast! To the empty halls.

Soon enough after the call, Jesse appeared, practically a full grown dog now, although he was still considered a 'puppy.' He walked down the hall, yawning, before he picked up a trot and bounded over to Maraiah.

Maraiah giggled as the dog's perky tail brushed her leg slightly, and reached down in the fridge to take out Jesse's favourite breakfast biscuits - 'Puppiez Biskitz'. Although they were food for a puppy, with a cheesy Labrador giving a thumbs-up on the logo, Maraiah knew that Jesse still loved it. Maraiah really spoiled her dog - he had 4 different types of foods. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were all different - and another for snacks. Maraiah sighed, picking up Jesse's shiny red foodbowl and emptied the remnants of the 'Biskitz' in. Not much was left. We'll have to get some more today then, Jesse,She yawned.

Jesse let out a small bark, leaning against his owners leg slightly as she stood by the fridge. Seeing one of his favorite food, he barked even louder, but then walked over to the area his food bowl normally stayed while he ate, and sat on his haunches, watching his closest friend intently.

Maraiah smiled, pausing to pet and praise the dog as she placed the food bowl carefully before him. She filled a dish with water, and placed that down as well, a smile still echoing on her lips.

As soon as the food was placed on the floor, haunches rose as his head lowered, chops instantly working on the delicious smelling provisions in the bowl.

A laugh was forced out of Maraiah's lips as she watched the pup wolf down his biscuits. Meanwhile, she fixed herself a cheesy toasted sandwich, which she chewed thoughtfully at the table. "So, where do you want to go today, Jesse?" She said finally, after dog and human had both finished their food and drink. "I thought we might drop by at the pet shop to get you some more biscuits and maybe some new things." She turned a distasteful eye on Jesse's battered collar and his chewed, dribbly dog bed in the far corner of the living room, which she could see through the open doors.

Licking his lips as his haunches rested upon the foor again, his harks pricked at Maraiah as he heard her familiar voice. He let out a low bark, walking over to where she was sitting.

Maraiah finished her sandwich, piled the cutlery and plate into the clean sink, and opened one of the drawers to remove Jesse's much - chewed leash. She bent over, tickling Jesse behind his ear to keep him still while she fixed the leash. ooc:// I dunno if it should be leash or lead...I'm British, but lead sounds weird. +shrugs+

- We say leash here, too xP -
Leaning into his owners scratches, the german shepherd was oblivious to the fact that Maraiah was clipping the leash on his collar.

- Arkansas... USA.... LOL, don't worry. This idiot isn't from your neck of the woods. -
Whimpering slightly, he stepped ahead of Maraiah and ventured toward the front door. He hated being on a leash, rather being free to do as he pleased, but he followed willingly. As they got to the door, he raised a foot, pawing at the door impatiently as he looked up at his master.

ooc:// Pah...never heard of it. For all I know you could be. ;D JK ic:// Maraiah grinned, opening the door to let the cold blast of air to reach their faces. Hurriedly, she pulled on a fur jacket, and stepped out, grabbing her clutch-bag with her also.

- - As the cold wind reached his ears, Jesse trotted out infront of Maraiah, onto the sidewalk. Snout raised to the air, he sniffed, searching for danger by instinct.
